Unable to select a sketch to loft/extrude

Hi,

I have made a sketch I can't extrude or put in a loft.

It seems closed to me (I viewed it with max zoom at the points I joined different parts of the sketch and found no discontinuity).

All the points seem coplanar (they all have the same Z coordinate I wanted them to have).

I have checked for multiple lines and haven't found any.

What could cause such a behaviour?

TIA,

Sébastien

Hi,

please share the file

File > export > save as f3d on local drive > attach to post

check to be sure that "show profile" is on for that sketch:

Then, use "divide and conquer" (drawing extra lines in the sketch) to see if there is a "leak" in your profile somewhere

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.

I don't get the "divide and conquer" bit, could you please elaborate?

Here's my model, the sketch I'm struggling with is the latest one.

TIA,

Sébastien

Hi,

Parts of the sketch are outside the sketch plane.

Move to sketchplane is your friend.

It is indeed my friend.

Thanks a lot.
