Unable to renew Fusion 360 hobbyist/personal user subscription

Hi all.

I have been using Fusion 365 with a hobbyist subscription for 2 years. Two day ago, my subscriptions expires and I followed the steps described in the following link in order to renew my subscription:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-t...

Then, I fill the form and after log in with my user and password, the following screen appeared:

I clicked in the "Download" button, waited for 30 minutes (in fact, I waited the whole night), but when I started and logged in into Fusion 360 it's stuck in "trial mode":

I repeated the same process several times. Every time I fill the form, I get the same message "You have a current Fusion 360 subscription..." but when I go back to Fusion 360 it is in trial mode and says "your trial version will expire in xxx days".

I know I can try to create a new account, but I got a lot of 3d models on my account and I don't want to lost them.

Has anyone else been able to renew their subscription? Can someone help me renewing my subscription?

Thank You very much.

NO, do not create a new Autodesk ID (account), if you do you will have to start all over again.  It seems you have succeeded in installing the Personal License of Fusion 360 because Autodesk has changed it's policy.  They are automatically installing a Fusion 360 Trial License to try and tempt you into buying a subscription.  If you let it expire, it will switch to a Personal License automatically.

Hi John

Thank you for your answer. That makes sense. I will cross my fingers and wait until trial expiration 😅.

I'll let you know if that works.

Thanks again.

Hi John

You were right!! Once the trial expired, I could renew my personal use licence.

Thanks!!

I have the same issue, Ihave been trying to renew my personal use licence.

I have followed the process for several hours now, Ive uninstalled and restarted several times.

each time I end up with the 30 day trial. Surely I don't have to wait thirty days before I can create and save new projects.

You have done all you can for now.  The 30 day trail, of a Fusion 360 full subscription, is Autodesk way of advertising.  Use it like you would a Personal License, create, save, etc.  After the 30 days, you be reverted back to a Personal License unless you like the full subscription and purchase it, which is Autodesk hope.
