Unable to open file versions saved by different user

My co-worker and I have the seats of same Fusion 360 version and we've always been able to open files the other has made changes to and saved. Lately, though, I have been unable to open anything he has saved, I always have to pick an earlier version of the file. A pop-up comes up that says "Try again after update completes. You are in the process of installing an update that is required to open xxxxxx." There are no updates showing in the job status bar and nothing shown as available in the update section of the account on the website. Do I just need to delete and reinstall Fusion altogether?

Show images of version number on each user.

Has your coworker joined the Insider preview program?

Well, I just re-downloaded Fusion right over the existing download and that fixed the problem.
