Solved: Unable to join two bodies

Hi

I am new to CAD and would be grateful for some help on a project i am working on. I am trying to model a boat but for some reason i am unable to join one part of the boat to the rest. In some parts of the body I am able to join other bodies in some i am not as you can see: In thr back I was able to attach a platform to the rest of the boat in the front I can't.
