Unable to edit previous sketches ... does "SAVE AS" permanently eliminate the ability to edit previous sketches????

I've been working on a project and I have been using "SAVE AS" for my own versioning (I also export to my computer for backups).  A lot of work has transpired before noticing that my ability to edit previous sketches seems to be gone...?    HOW do I make these previous sketches editable again, forever and always?

No, it does not.  Save As should not affect your ability to edit sketches at all.  The only thing that I am aware of which can affect it is if the sketch is owned by a "base feature" of some kind.  This could be an explicit Base Feature in the timeline, or a T-Spline (Form) feature.  In order to edit those sketches, you have to first edit the base feature that owns them, then they will be editable.

But, as @g-andresen says:  We can tell immediately if this is the case if you share your design.

Hello and thank you!  I'd like to be able to edit sketches "Gregneckthru" and subsequent.  I have various splines (numbered in sketches) and I'd like to be able to edit those contours that would then adjust the "loft" between them...  What do I need to do ?   I'm too new to F360 to completely grasp your instructions (sorry).

Thank you sooooo much.

Hi,

It is like @jeff_strater  said
To edit these sketches, you must first edit the base feature they belong to, then they are editable.
In your design, disabled history has been activated later.
The sketches are almost all in base features.
These must first be brought into edit mode in order to then edit the sketches. Extrusions previously created with these sketches must then be regenerated.

Here is how to edit the sketch "Gregneckthru".  It is not really a good idea to put sketches inside those base features, primarily for this reason.  Unfortunately, there is no visible difference between a base feature sketch and a regular sketch.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!  I thought I was going to have to start over from scratch (which at my level, would have been some work).  Thank you for making that crystal clear.
