Unable to delete files

Don't point me to old forum posts, howto's, or any of that stuff. I've tried it all!

I'm sick of Fusion 360 telling me I can't delete things. To date, I've encountered it all..."file is use by other user" (umm, I'm the only user), "file is referenced", (it says no "uses") etc.

I get that Fusion 360 is trying to help us out here and protect us from making mistakes, but the whole delete process is not transparent and my project folders are turning into a mess.

OK, so an old version is to blame. That's fine, but I can't edit/save old versions to break that dependency. Now I'm stuck with a mess of files I can't delete.  Opening, editing, saving, does not fix the problem...it just creates a new version. Why can't I delete versions if I want to clean things up?

I'm having a similar frustration.  I have an file that won't let me delete it.

But when I go to the version information it says it's not referenced by any other designs under either Uses, Used In, or Drawings.

What's the fix?

I've been having the exact same problem for a year and a half. Frustrating for sure. I created a folder in Home (root) and named it Trash Bin, and moved the files there. That cleaned up my file structure a lot, but still very annoying.

I came here to post the exact same bug. I cannot delete from in fusion or from the web interface for a design that is not referenced anywhere.
