Unable to create drawings

When I try to create a drawing from design , I am unable to get anything . No error is displayed , but this screen is there for a long time now.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file that you are using in attempt to create Drawing to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

I am unable to expand/collapse any buttons. All the button can be highlighted but not expanded. Is it an installation error?

Hello, I am experiencing a problem that sounds exactly like yours. I updated Fusion, Windows, my graphics card drivers, and a couple unrelated things lol, but none of it seems to have fixed my issue. Any other ideas? Sanjay, if your issue was solved, what did you eventually do to fix it?

 

FWIW I am running Windows 11 with a Ryzen 5 6600 and an RTX 3060. Far from amazing hardware but should be more than capable. The file that I am testing with is also very simple - basically a block with four holes and fillets on the vertical edges.

I am having the exact same issue as described by Sanjay. Unable to create drawing from design. The drawing window freezes immediately after loading none the buttons work and I have to close the program. I have done all the suggested updtes, graphics card, Fusion 360 etc. No luck fixing the problem.

Please attach a model you cannot make a drawing from.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Please see attached file. None of the files I have work.

Originally when I first installed Fusion 360 there was no problem.

Problem appeared after the new updates.

I used your model to create a quick 2D Drawing without issue.  I hope you have read the solution posted earlier in this Forum Thread as it the same one I would suggest.  If all you get is a blank screen, then it is a graphic problem.  Below the drawing, I placed a few screen captures of where hopefully you go to get your graphics straight.

Thank you for your response. This what I see when I go to diriver diagnostics.

Below is what I see on my screen when I click the update icon, it takes me to Nvidia. Do I have to purchase the updated drivers? It gives me abunch of options and it says buy now.

You are looking in the wrong place on the web.  Nvidia Drivers, for supported products, are furnished by the company at no charge.  Please verify the card on the link Nvidia Driver page  and simply download it starting with the Search icon.  Please note, your card is a 930M so it fits within the 9M Series.  The "M" stands for noteboods (mobile).

 

NOTE: Make sure you are not running ANY application when installing this driver.  Also restart your computer even if it does not ask you to do so after installation.
