Troubles with animation.

Hi, guys! I'm beginner in Fusion 360 and i need help from Guru of Fusion. I want to animate my mech, but i need a direction of movement  my detail relative to the pin. Can i do it? Please help someone! Thx for ur attetnion!

P.S. I try 2much optoins, but I didn't find the right one.

Hi @mark.twain.frlc ,

 

Can you attach the designs that you have already completed in Fusion 360,

File>Export your *.f3d/*.f3z file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply.

I believe you are asking what type of Joint you should apply between the pin and the slot to make the draw bar function.  This would be a Pin and Slot Joint with applied joint limits.  I have outlined how to do this in the attached Screencast.  I also mentioned in the Screencast the only way to engage the drawbar and pin was by using a Contact Set.  Contact Sets in Fusion 360 are very problematic and I I am sure it will give you trouble.  I have attached your modified model and added the Contact Set just to show you what I can do.  Please notice I had to add a 4mm radius the one of the inside edges of the draw latch to allow clearance in your motion.
