Trouble Uploading files

Hello everyone,

I'm having trouble uploading files after the recent update. Normally I have a Master Parameter file that drives some parameters to my Assemblyfile and to multiple placed components within that assembly file.
Normally I would change some parameters within the Master Parameter file, save that and then update my assembly file. After updating it I would save the assembly file. This also saves changes in multiple placed components as indicated in the dialog box now appearing.
Normally this works well but after the recent update file seems to get stuck in the upload queu and everything gets bogged down. I've tried some things but nothing seems to work... I have the problem on both my computers...
Anybody any idea's?
Thank you.

I'm having the same problem on my end. Several files are hours behind based on the last version shown in the data panel and at least 8 files/changes are stuck in the upload queue.

The Autodesk services health dashboard shows all green and the network test does not show anything special yet the uploads are stuck

I was able to flush the upload queue once today by restarting the app but I'm afraid to rely on that as a solution given that I am now also plagued by another long standing bug that usually causes all sorts of other problems upon restarting.

My diagnostics tab looks exactly the same...

We're not the first ones with the same issue, here's an older thread I found:

This issue comes and goes every now and then, likely something fishy on the server side...

I was thinking something along those lines as well, I have been working offline for a little while and everything worked. But then some file went missing and I had to go back online to get everything updated again and now I'm waiting again...  😔

I just got word back from the Fusion support team and this is what they've send me:

  1. Find location:
  • Windows: C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\[USER_ID]\W.login.
  • macOS: Macintosh HD > Users > *** > Library > Application Support > Autodesk > Autodesk Fusion 360 > *** > W.Login.
  1. Check if the Q folder is empty. If it is empty that means that all files were successfully saved in the cloud. If the Q folder contains some files please wait until they will be successfully saved in the cloud.
  2. Find a folder named 'F'. This is the local cache folder.
  3. Make a backup of this folder in the other location.
  4. Delete the F folder.
  5. Restart Fusion and a new F folder will appear and it will be empty.

Worked for me, hope it helps you out too...!

Cheers!

The solution, regarding the Q files, is funny. Waiting for those files to be uploaded is what actually caused the problem so if the solution is waiting ... well ... time fixes anything, eventually 🙂

The issue was actually solved by the update released yesterday and once applied all files were uploaded correctly, without any data lost.
