Trouble opening files on different computers

I see there are numerous reports of similar problems but I was unable to find any posts with my specific problem. I am using Fusion on several computers. About 3-4 weeks ago I started having this issue where if I save a design on one laptop (at home) and wait for it to be uploaded before closing Fusion, then try to open it on my computer in the shop, I get this error.

Very frustrating as I made sure the source computer was turned on for some time after I was done with Fusion. And, it appears i have to re-open this file on the home computer before I can open it in the shop. If this was a one off problem I would be inclined to just forget it. However, it is happening quite frequently and is affecting my work flow.

Thanks

After closing on original computer as a sanity check can you restart Fusion and verify that it will open?

Can you Attach a *.f3d file here that exhibits this behavior.

My next thought is destination hasn’t completed an Update, but you should get a message to that effect rather than the message you are reporting.

@tom2KXAJ you mentioned that you are using Fusion on various machines. Is it possible that the version of Fusion is different on each machine? Can you launch the Fusion service utility on all these machines and run the repair utility so that all machines gets on the same version?

I do think it is/was a version problem. But, the error message was not the typical version error, and I did not have an upgrade option on the second (lower version) computer. This computer ended up updating later that day and I could open the file. Thanks.
