Hi,

I'm using the lab installation version which "doesn't auto update", however there are instructions provided to have it automatically pull the newest version and update it using Task Scheduler. I've installed Fusion 360 v2.0.15050 on a computer and set up the scheduled task as the PDF directs, but even after seeing the task report running successfully in Task Scheduler, the version number has not updated to v2.0.15775. Eventually we'd be pushing this out across a number of schools, so I want to make sure it actually works first...

Any help/guidance is more than appreciated.

Thank you!

3. Sign-up to receive Fusion 360 Updates

Fusion 360 is updated approximately every six weeks. Regular updates to lab installations are mandatory. Maintain full compatibility by signing up for notifications. Click here to be notified.

You will receive an email with these instructions to upgrade Fusion 360:

  • Re-download the Fusion Lab Install Package (link in Step 1 above)
  • Windows only:
    • To ensure your lab version is consistent with the latest version available on students’ personal devices you now have the option to set up Auto-Downloads. Auto-Downloads for Fusion 360 automate the recurring 6-8 week update process. Follow set-up instructions for Auto-Downloads here - see section 6 (page 14).
