Hi y'all!

So I have an assembly, was done in CAD not in F360, I diligently convert all bodies into components and make my exploded view in the animation workspace.
I make a drawing out of it, i put parts numbers on... everything works fine.
However I also need a 3D dwg file of the exploded assembly, meaning I need to basically "fix" the position of the animated components and export it that way.

Is there any way I could do it?

Also, and this is secondary in importance, is there a way I could automatically add to the parts table (like the one you can do in the Drawing tab) the dimensions of the part? Meaning the XYZ max dimensions?

Hey allori.1521987,

At this time there's no way to export a model in the state of an animation frame. These are separate environments within Fusion that don't communicate with each other. The best way to do this, although less convenient than your proposal, would probably be to make a new design, bring the components in as Derived objects, then move the objects around in the Model workspace using a set view orientation.

Dimensions of an object also aren't available as an auto-generated property in a Drawing table.

Hi @allori.1521987

To get the bounding box information onto a drawing, you could manually place this information into the description field of the model and then show this on the drawings.

There is also a relatively cheap add-in on the app store that will do this for you: https://apps.aut...

Hope that this helps
