Top task bar missing

Hello,

First I'd like to say thank you. I recently discovered the power of this program on YouTube. I figured I wanted to give it a try. I have the personal edition recently downloaded from the website. I downloaded it a few days ago and have had the same problem since I downloaded it. When I first download the program it runs without complications but as soon as I minimize it or bring a different window in front of Fusion when I bring up Fusion again the taskbar vanishes along with the history.

Things I have tried:

Clean uninstall and reinstall (problem persists)

Update graphics card

Restart computer multiple times.

Again thank you for your assistance.

Thank you for your response. I performed the uninstall and then reinstalled it to no avail. I am now thinking it is due to my graphics card being insufficient. Can you help with specs?

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6500U CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.60 GHz
Installed RAM 12.0 GB (11.9 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Intel Hd graphics 520

NVIDIA GeForce 940MX

Have you tried the different Graphic Settings in Fusion 360 Preferences?  If you change to a different one, you MUST restart Fusion 360 for it to take effect.

John,

Thank you for your reply. Yes I have tried using my Intel and my Nvidia graphics card separately. I still run into the same problem With multiple pieces of the program not showing up properly. It seems as if I either have the taskbar with no models or models with no taskbar’s. I am currently looking into another solution which required the creation of a new windows account. I will update if it works. Again thank you very much

I too have the same hardware you do.  I had to use the Nvidia Control Panel to assign the graphics card to Fusion 360, after that I had no issues.  With the Nvidia card I use the OpenGL selection with great success.

Unfortunately now I am stuck on the splash Autodesk Fusion 360 screen after the install. I have tried to perform a clean uninstall of all users. Install the program under Product > Download your Software > Fusion 360.

I then Run the .exe as administrator and then open. I used to at least get stuck with the strange task bar missing but now it is not even sending me to the log in screen.

Again any help is much appreciated.

Unfortunately now I am encountering a new problem when attempting to open Fusion 360. I open the software and it only brings me to the landing page. I have tried the clean uninstall and still get this. Please help I love the idea of this software but I just cannot get this to work.

I just cannot get this to work. Beyond frustrated. Manual uninstall completed. Cleaner zip completed. Restarted computer to no avail. Again the software doesn't even up and just brings me to the same splash page.

These are your licenses, the download is the same if you select either one.  In fact the installation streamer is the same for all, only the license types are different unlocking different application access.

By the way, Fusion 360 is offline for maintenance this evening so I would wait till tomorrow.

I am assuming you are using Windows.  I would create a new Windows profile making sure the profile has administrator rights.  Using this profile, install Fusion 360.  If it works fine this will prove you have been using a corrupt profile and then you can decide how to proceed.  If you are not using Windows, we’ll forget my suggestion as I do not use A MAC.
