When I open my tool library the dialogue box is blank. I have uninstalled and installed the program several times to no avail. Can someone please help?

Thanks!

Same problem here, just as I was about to start setting up tools and bits for my old CNC machine.

2.0.8624 macOS 10.14.4

Fresh reinstall and still no GUI.

What happens when you revert to the old library UI? That's in Preferences > Preview Functionality > Manufacture > Tool Library.

I went to preferences and reverted back to the old tool library and everything came up as normal. I don't understand why it did this out of the blue...one day everything was fine, next it was all gone. I also am wondering why the new library won't work. But I have my tools and can carry on. Thanks.

I don't even have that option. I've never set up any tooling and was just
about to start.

That crumb trail doesn't exist in my version (newest).

Just did a new install, tool library preview is turned on by default resulting in blank tool library until preview is turned off.

I can see details for a Mac in this thread, are there any other build and spec details please so I can add to the ticket.

Thanks

I did a new install on a freshly installed and updated win 764 on March 16th when I experienced the blank library for the first time.

This is an old thread, but same problem here the last few months I've been banging my head against...

Clean uninstall and reinstall.  No changes:

The tools show up in the "Manage Tools" dialogue box, but not within the drawing file "Select Tool" dialogue box - it only displays an empty file drawer & No Data.

It wasn't until I ran across this thread and unchecked the Preview Tools box that they showed up in the right place. Bad bug!

@oi3WS5F As you have entered the tool library through an operation (drilling in this instance) we automatically applied the filter for hole making tools. This was implemented a few months back to help users identify appropriate tools that can be used within a toolpath quickly.

Its just a guess but I would say that there are no hole making tools in you library labelled - KLG Tools.

You will need to remove the applied filter to see the tools in this library or navigate to a library with hole making tools in.

This behaviour is the same for every tool path with the exception of the milling filter which includes the spot drill and countersink tools (requested by users as often used for chamfering etc).

I hope this helps

Thanks

Hi Chris

You are correct, no specialized tools, just my basic 14.  And the
problem started a few months back!

How do I remove applied filters?  In Preferences?

thanks

Kevin
