tool library bugs?

Library folder creation: The ability to create levels of library folders is very restricted. I am unable to create more than one level under Local or a new folder at the top level. For example, I can create a folder called "Imported libraries" under local, but I am unable to create any folders under that level or copy existing libraries into that folder.

Cutting data: On cutting data tab for a flat end mill, the ramp feedrate and plunge feedrate default at 13.3333 in/min. If you want the calculated value, you have to right click on box and select "Reset to default". If you do this only in the "Ramp feedrate" box, nothing happens. If you do this in the "Ramp feedrate" box and then the  "Plunge feedrate" box, they both change to the calculated value. If you only reset "Plunge feedrate" box, only plunge feedrate changes. I don't believe getting calculated values was meant to be a game puzzle.

Hi @jmorphet ,

You can't create a Subfolder. but you can simply go to the filters option and select the category of the tools instead of multiple folders in the local Library.

For the second question, Ramp Feedrate remains equal to the Plunge feed rate when you reset the Plunge Feedrate. You can set it manually or more than the plunge one.

Thanks,

KrupVala,

I appreciate you trying, but I really wasn't looking for a work around. I
was suggesting areas that need improvement.
