I feel that you should be able to single select, control select,  or group select icons in the timeline to hide elements.

As an example, when I select four or five icons on the timeline, hitting the v key to hide elements should work the same as selecting the same element(s) on canvas.

I also feel there should be an option to tag/bookmark/ or identify and icon on the timeline so that when you're scrolling through, you have a reference point to navigate by.

So just a couple of usability ideas, take it for what its worth.

The timeline represents features, not necessarily discrete objects.

E.g. what would you expect when you hide a cut-extrude feature ?

I guess that then only sketches, construction planes, std parts, and sheet metal components could be hidden and since things like pockets, holes, etc.

Seems like whatever is associated with their representative body they are linked to would be included to be hidden?

@TrippyLighting is correct - the sketch feature is not the sketch itself (as represented in the browser).  That said, the distinction is subtle, and there are other cases where Fusion accepts either selection (for instance, Edit Sketch - you can select the feature or the sketch).  So, your suggestion of allowing it for items that map 1-1 to an object that does support visibility would be consistent, at least.  So, the request is valid, thanks.   But, in all honesty, I suspect this is pretty far down the priority list...
