Sorry about the totally non-specific subject line, but check this out:  in the last month or so Fusion 360 has started to do some very bizarre things:

- when I start a sketch, the view doesn't change so that I'm looking right at the selected plane as it usually does.  I can select the desired plane with the viewcube, but then the real fun begins:

- if I press C (or select circle from the Create menu), this is what pops up:

If I click and drag a circle and enter 1.0", I get a circle of 2.417 inch diameter!   I can subsequently edit the dimension to get the 1" circle, but...!     There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the dimension that I actually get.

The exact same thing happens for rectangles too.

Presumably the changes are the result of some automatic update process, because I have changed nothing that I can think of that would have anything to do with this.  (Not that getting random-size objects is something that anyone would want to have in the first place!)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

Patrick

ps - I am still running Windows 7, which of course is anciently out of date.  However, Fusion 360 has been running just fine for quite some time now so I'm hoping that it isn't an OS issue.

In the sketch palette, deselect 3d sketch, that will remove the triad.

The dimension problem is due to running Windows 7. You will have to manually re enter the dimension. It will not be fixed since 7 is no longer supported.
