The dimension/information display is gone

Hi,

There was always a small information text or box in the bottom right corner. It shows information of selected objects like lengths, distance and etc. But it is just gone now and there is this weird box. I cannot even click it. It doesn't do anything. The thing is, I didn't do anything and why did it just stop displaying that information and this weird box shows up and is non-responsive at all. I googled QTview and no results. So how do I bring that information text/window in the corner and remove this box? Why is this happening?

Update: I just re-launched the app and now it shows the information again and the box is gone. Still, don't know what to do when that happens again.

Looking at your image I see the results you are expecting. Notice how the top dialog is a little transparent?

The measure under it says "2 faces, minimum distance 2.5mm"

The strange part is the dialog sitting on top of the measure as you have noticed.

Have you tried restarting your computer?

I re-launched the app and now the box is gone. I wasn’t aware that the text. I was so frustrated. I still don’t know why the box showed up. I couldn’t remove it and it drives me crazy.

Thanks,

I still don't know why that box showed up. What do I do next time. Re-launch again?

Here is what you can do:

1. If it shows up again, let me know by updating this forum thread.

2. Try using File > View > Reset to default layout.

3. If that doesn't solve the problem, restart Fusion.

I hope this helps. If it becomes a persistent problem we can also try to reproduce and fix the issue, but in order to debug a bug we usually must be able to reproduce it. Thanks for your patience and sorry for any inconvenience this causes. And thanks again for posting on the forum!

I will try to catch the moment when the box shows up. I wonder what causes the issue.

Thanks,

Like most of my Fusion Bugs a quick reset fixed it.
