Text spacing changed in existing manufacturing model

I just opened a part programmed some weeks ago as the customer ordered more pieces. As reported earlier, the Trace operation used to engrave the part number is somehow invalidated every time I open the file so I was not surprised that I have to re-generate the toolpath. However, to my surprise I found the text rendered with a lot of spacing between the digits (row 1 in image below) instead of the expected compact text (as in newly added row 2)

If I open the text item from the sketch (added inside the Manufacturing Model) everything looks as it should so the text should be rendered as in row 2.

Why then the weird spacing?

I saw the same thing as well but I can't reproduce it on my models.

@ltomuta can you share a file that exhibits this behavior?

By the looks of it that would be any old(ish) project that has a Text object in it. Like this one I just found in my projects:

This sample project is also affected. I shared it with you in a previous posts where I was reporting that the new text command appears to invalidate the CAM toolpath every time the file is opened. Possibly a related thing. Note that only the new Text plug-in is affected, the text generated with the old one remains as it was.

Now I see that in the shared project the sketch is done in Design side so the Manufacturing Model is not part of the problem, as I first tought.

Also, I first noticed this on my work PC after installing the latest hotfix update. But on my home PC this was visbile before applying the update, which means that the root cause is to be fund at least two releases back.
