Text objects unexpectedly rotating and resizing when moving and constraining.

I had about a 100 text objects that I needed to snap to position and noticed the angles kept skewing as I moved them.

This happens with rotated or squared text objects.

I created an empty sketch just to make sure there wasn't any secret constraints. Same result.

Is this a normal behaviour and I am just missing context? Or bug? Or what?

End goal: A construction line with positioned points along it. I need to coincide the line points with centrepoints  the text objects rotated 45°. You can see in the screenshot below the changing angle for each as I dragged the centre handle and snapped to point. The object is a Move/Copy of the first instance.

Screencast has never run properly on Silicon Mac - just hangs, so here's a dropbox link to a screencapture demonstrating: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mgni3iyyvml8yxw/Screen%20Recording%202022-09-25%20at%202.52.03%20PM.mov?dl...

The sketch text construction line boxes are just like any other sketch entity.  They can have sketch constraints added to them and also dimensions to control their size and/or angle which I think is what you want.  You can also dimension between the center points to keep them even spaced.

Attached is a sample of a sketch with Text Box constraints and dimensions.

Edit:  It is a lot easier to add sketch points to the center point of the text box BEFORE trying to dimension between them.

Thanks. That's helpful.

Seems like a workaround though. I don't have this issue with any other entity. If I want to move a centre-point rectangle around, it's fine. Why would moving a text box change its geometry? Seems like a bug to me.

This works, but to do each individually, wow. I have about 100 text boxes to position. And pattern won't work because they aren't spaced regularly.

Also, I can't even move the text box to snap to the point and keep it square. This can't be right.

So the only way I could get it to work in some sort of easy workflow is just parallel-constrain each entity to a fixed line 45° to the centre-line to correct the deviation when moving.
