Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 community!

I searched this issue that has already reported as FUS-34933. they are working on it.

As a workaround, Have you tried to use "Explode"?

After creating the text and then click the right click, you can see the explode option.

Are you unable to create the extrude with your text? if yes, could you share your design? I will try to find the way. Here is how to share your design.

I look forward to your reply

Many thanks,

Ahreum.

I tried your suggestion but couldn't.

Do you have any other alternative?

Hi,

1. For some fonts, overlaps prevent conversion to curves (explode).
2. Fusion prefers OTF fonts.
3. If you still have problems, create the text e.g. in Inkscape and import it as SVG into Fusion.

I've had this problem as well. I have imported fonts and they do not work at all, I've been trying to find a solution for a while now but as of yet nothing has worked. Anyone got any other ideas other than the ones already mentioned?
