Text and laser cutting

Hello! I want to create individual letters for a sign. I want one letter per design file to be laser cut. How do I create the letters to be laser cut?

To be honest,  if you're just laser cutting letters.  There's alot of software out there that's geared towards that specifically.  And probably less learning curve.  

But that fusion can't do it.  But it'll be faster using something else in my opinion

@dieselguy65  is right when he says that there are many applications to create contours for laser cutting.
But the statement that it is not possible with Fusion is wrong.

Create a letter in a sketch and then extrude it.
For laser cutting you save the sketch with the letter as DXF and send it to the laser cutter.

Maybe my post got attacked by auto correct.
It should have read, but it's possible with fusion, just not the easiest
method.
