We are using fusion on Chromebooks. Things were working fine for a week or so. Then a very few random students started getting black screens on start up. Tried several things no help. The next day the program would work fine. Now we seem to be having more Chromebooks with the same problem. One student's would not even work the next day. Gave her a completely different Chromebook and she still got the black screen.

@browng4KWS6 We have a couple of other posts on the forums calling this out. Many have solved with with a browser clear cache. Was this tried on any of the machines that are showing this issue?

Let me ask you some questions, and maybe the best way to troubleshoot this is with a Zoom session where we can see the Chromebook and check console.

Does it consistently happen on the same device? Same person logging in on a different device gets the same issue or is it device dependent?

Did it start after the last update? (1/18)

How many Chromebooks are impacted? (x out of how many x)

Can you share specs for that/those Chromebook(s)?

If you prefer to discuss in a call, please reach out to me at guillermo.melantoni@autodesk.com, and we'll coordinate a zoom call where it would be great to see the device with problems.

Thanks,

Guillermo

Does it consistently happen on the same device? Same person logging in on a different device gets the same issue or is it device dependent? No different devices and people.  One person I did try a different, loaner, Chrome book and she had same result. Her normal chrome book worked the next day.

Did it start after the last update? (1/18) This is very likely. We just started using fusion early Jan.and seemed fine then all of a sudden we started having trouble.

How many Chromebooks are impacted? (x out of how many x) Started as 1, different students, out of 34, two different classes total of 34 students. For a few days then got up to maybe 7 or so out of same 34.

Can you share specs for that/those Chromebook(s)? I'll have to get that from the tech people.

Thanks for your time
