Tangent Arc tool not allowing for opposite arcing path

Hi, I have a problem with the tangent arc tool. I need it to arc in a shallow line between these two points, but it instead creates an almost circle outside of the track.

I instead want the curve to be like this (uniform of course.) I'm not sure if I'm using the tangent arc tool incorrectly, or if there's another tool for this type of path. I don't have any way of knowing where the center of the arc would be.

Offset one of the existing curves,

or construct a helper line perpendicular to the cutout, to tangent from.

Might help...

What you actually need is a perpendicular constraint but Fusion does not allow these using arcs. The workaround is add a coincident constraint between the lines and the arc centre.

Here's a screencast of a similar situation

I think you are misunderstanding the meaning of Tangent.

Looks to me like you are after Concentric rather than Tangent.

Simply sketch the 3point arc approximately and then add the Concentric.
