Tab during polygon creation intermittently doesn't work

Hi all,

I have a bug report relating to creating circumscribed and inscribed polygons.

Repro steps

  1. Open a new Design
  2. Create a new sketch on the Top plane
  3. Using either of the Circumscribed or Inscribed Polygon tools, select the origin as the center point

Actual Results

I cannot tab from the dimension to the polygon sides field. This problem is intermittent, but happens much more often than not in my current experience. I almost didn't realize it was intermittent until I caught it working confirming my repro process.

Expected Results

Tab should move between the dimension and polygon sides fields 100% of the time.

Notes

As a workaround, it's still possible to choose the sides field by clicking inside the text box to place the cursor there, before committing the polygon to the sketch.

I agree with you the Tab key switching of emphasis between a polygon radius to the number of sides is very touchy.  I have found though that it is due to an very small movement of my mouse, even the vibration of my removing my hand.  Take a look at the Screencast and see if this is true for you.  The cursor emphasis should not move, once the Tab key is pressed until I press the Tab key again, not a movement of the mouse.

Thanks John.  That's an interesting observation, but I note that my repro doesn't match what you describe: hands off mouse or trackpad, I'm seeing the tab key is still unresponsive. One way or another this seems like a proper bug that should be reported; I'll look into that.
