Is anyone else having issues with bringing in SW 2024 files into Fusion 360? Attached is the test file. It either doesn't begin the translation process or fails. I tried the document as a step file and it upload no problem. But as a 2024 SLDPRT file it doesn't do anything. Thoughts? Thank you in advance.

@umairABV9U

Do you see a *.sldprt file Attached to your post? (I don’t see the file.)

Try zipping the file first I the*.sldprt file will not Attach.

Do you have a commercial license of Fusion or are you running free personal license?

I too cannot open your SolidWorks file in Fusion 360 nor will it Upload.  Perhaps the file is from a newer version of SolidWorks that is not supported yet.  I tried to open it in Inventor 2024.2, which is the latest, and it gave this message shown below.

@jeff_strater, maybe you can try it and if you cannot get it to open, give it to your Fusion 360 team.

I believe that @jhackney1972 is correct.  Fusion does not yet support Solidworks 2024 format for import.  I am not sure when that version will be supported.

Thank you! @jhackney1972  @jeff_strater for checking for me. I can use a different file format for now.
