SVG file not working properly after importing

Hopefully I am in the correct area for this problem. I have read a few forums about this already and have tried a few of the options to fix this issue but I can't get it to work properly.

I created a sketch in Adobe illustrator and exported as a SVG file, then try to open as a sketch in Fusion 360. I can get the sketch to appear, although most of the areas cannot be extruded and it shows that my sketch is not closed. After importing the SVG, some of my lines have also moved substantially and it doesn't match my Adobe Illustrator file. In Adobe Illustrator, I triple checked that all of my edges meet each other and there are no strange curves or breaks/gaps in the lines, so I don't know why the sketch would look different in Fusion. The lines extend past each other and some of the points don't match, but they look perfectly fine in Illustrator before exporting. Am I saving the SVG file incorrectly? I have done this before, but only with simple shapes.

Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong? I am fairly new to Fusion 360 but I am well versed in Adobe Illustrator, so I'm not sure where my problem is rooted.

I'll upload my Fusion360 file, the Illustrator file, and the SVG I am using, just in case anybody would like to see this.

Here is a screenshot of the Adobe Illustrator file open next to the Fusion 360 import. As you can see, the lines do not match. I circled the areas that extend past their marks.

Thank you in advance!

Thank you again in advance for the help. It may be a simple mistake on my end but it has been a bit frustrating.

Hi,

I have found several open vectors. Some of them I have replaced others I have closed with the coinzidenz tool.
Probably the missing connections were not noticed in Illustrator. The difficulty in cleaning up is the reaction (moving) of the adjacent elements when closing gaps.

You are awesome! I was just hoping for a response but you went above and beyond and started to fix the file. Thank you for the video too. That really helped me understand what steps you took.

Many thanks!
