Suspected Bug: Can't clear Error warning for toolpath generation. I have to force quit Fusion.

Hi,

I used some cloud credits to get a 24hr access to machining extensions to try them out. As you can see in the screenshot below, I used the Swarf toolpath for one operation. Despite playing around with the parameters, it gave me a terrible finish on my Haas UMC500, so i decided to just go with a 3d toolpath instead, which meant i didn't need access to the machining extension.

My access to machining extensions has now lapsed. As you can see, the "Swarf" toolpath is therefore locked to me. As you can also see though, I forgot to suppress this Swarf toolpath. This means that when I generate all the toolpaths, i get a warning, which i would expect.

The problem is this though: I can't clear that error by clicking "OK", or the "X" box. I have to force quit Fusion all together.

Thinking about it now, I did run into this problem on another project where I decided to give machining extensions a go.

Well, that's not good. Before attempting to regenerate, can you just delete the toolpath?

@seth.madore

Hi Seth,

Thanks for your reply.

Now that I have clicked 'generate', I can't clear the error, or delete the Swarf (extensions) toolpath. Fusion is basically unresponsive. The only option is to force quit...

If I had suppressed the Swarf (extensions) toolpath before generating, then I wouldn't have had the issue. I still get the warning popup, but I can clear it easily by just acknowledging the warning.

I didn't want to delete the toolpath though, as I may still use it if i can get it to work....

To me it just seems like a bug that needs looking at... especially for people like me who sign up just for a days extensions here-and-there.

Thanks, Alex
