Sufficient data not found to switch to offline mode message and then close

Anonymous
Not applicable

I recently started to get the message "Sufficient data not found to switch to offline mode. Application will go online now." and when I press "ok" Fusion 360 loads for a second then just closes itself every time before I can even click on anything. I have tried everything that people suggested on other forum posts with similar issues, I also tried disabling firewall, uninstalling my antivirus and reinstalling Fusion multiple times and nothing has worked! Can anyone else suggest any ways to fix it?

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Fusion 360 Community!

Just to check, have you been able to log into Fusion 360 successfully before? If so, can you try the instructions below:

Mac OS

Note: While working through the following instructions, you will need to be able to access hidden files and folders on  Mac.

  1. In the Subsequent Finder window (Macintosh HD > Users > %Profile% > Library), browse to ~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Web Services
  2. In the Web Services Directory, locate the file LoginState.xml
  3. Right click on LoginState.xml and select Move to Trash
  4. Restart Fusion 360

Windows OS

Note: While working through the instructions in this article, you will need to access hidden files and folders on  Windows.

1. (Close Fusion 360) In windows explorer browse to  C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Web Services
2. In the Web Services directory, right lick on the Login State.xml file and select delete
3. Restart Fusion 360

I have this same issue but the steps do not solve my problem.  I have uninstalled, used the windows cleaner tool for fusion, and reinstalled and still the same issue.  I have deleted this file and made sure that there are no proxies.  This is super annoying.

Same here, I reinstalled and cleaned.

Bit of a weird experience, I'll look into other options. However, autodesk needs to fix this because I'm moving on, others probably do too so it's lost income. Not that they need my measly 40 bucks but hey 🙂

Same issue here. I know Fusion 360 is currently down, just piling on in case one more report helps.

Hi guys,

To the latest responders - yes I do believe this issue is due to our service outage we have going on. I apologize that you were not able to get into the software, and unfortunately uninstalling probably wiped all the sign in info that was stored that would've allowed you to log in during an outage.

I understand this is really frustrating and as soon as Fusion is up, I will keep you posted!

Thanks,

One of my students tried this fix on his personal machine but the problem persisted.

I am also having this issue. I've decided to give the trial a go as it looks like a good piece of software but I can't even use it! Hugely frustrating!

Hey @Anonymous & @jtwilson4N5CE, as mentioned there is a service outage at the moment and that is the root cause of the issue. We are working to bring Fusion back online.

Sadly, I too am getting the same issue as previously reported here. I have done all the steps including white-listing everything that Fusion looks at, but with no luck.

I have a DT department nipping at my heels over it. Is it still an outage issue do we know?

most likely not because other pcs on this same network work fine in fusion

Had a little play around and discovered that (for us at least), windows 10 installs were working, windows 7 installs were not. Our existing download of the fusion 360 exe did not work when redeployed.

I am now deploying the Fusion 360 Admin Install via PDQ, which sits happily on our windows 7 and 10 machines and runs correctly.

Hi There,

So I have the same problem and none of the suggested solutions worked for me until I found this one. My Fusion360 is up and running...finally.

Hi All,

We have Autodesk Fusion 360 version 1.0 deployed on multiple computers running windows 7 (64 bit). We are deploying the application via SCCM.

We have followed the steps here but with no success.

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How...

The only way we got it to work was to download and install version 2.0.5511. Please advise if we need to update our package to this version or there is a some sort of maintenance for this application.

Another question is will we be needing to update again the version if in case we run into this scenario?

Any help would be appreciated.

We have resolved the issue by creating a new installer specifically for windows 7. We are still unsure what caused this issue however after the reinstall we have had no issues since then.

Thank you for the update. Did you use the same version or did you update your installer to the latest one available for download? Seems to work if we use the updated version. Need to clarify with Autodesk if the package really needs the updated version so that we can request for that version to be repackaged instead. Thanks

Hi Ryan,

Good day! Regarding this issue. You think we'd be better off using the latest version off your site or any other steps we can do?

Thanks!
