Suddenly getting "Could not execute the command line" error when I try to launch Fusion 360

Fusion had been launching fine until this problem  showed up yesterday.

I checked and I did not have any recent Windows updates.   I've searched the Forum and seen a few other folks have had the same type of problem; however, there are no resolutions supplied.

I tried deleting the Fusion 360 app and reinstalling it.   After the Fusion 360 Client Downloader.exe file ran, I had a new version of Fusion 360, and it opened automatically, and worked fine.

However, when I closed it and treid to restart it, the error came back.

Any suggestions?   Thanks,

Appreciate the response, but that fix does not work for me.  Tried it, but I'm still getting the same error.

So far I've tried:

  • Deleting my antivirus app and rebooting
  • Deleting and reinstalling Fusion 360 -- as others have said, it works once, then fails
  • Trying to execute Fusion360.exe and FusionLauncher, exe files directly
  • Deleting and recreating the shortcut

If it did not work, why did your mark your post as solved?

I got a what I assume was an automatic reminder from Autodesk that this topic had been left unresolved.   I wanted to close out this topic by pointing to this other one: Fusion does not start (0x00000002) - which is the same issue and has generated more discussion.

But I didn't see how to do that in any official way, so to close this topic I labeled it as resolved.

If there was a better alternative please let me know.  Thanks!
