Ok so I had a Hobby license for a while and then everything changed when you all changed how that stuff was going to work. So I ended up with a startup license ok all was fine till went to renew that and got a message that I need to be on a Hobby License from you guys. Went to try and fix that a few days ago and still have expiring in 19 days showing up. I have a bunch of files i do not want to loose or have to remake. What is going to happen when I go to a hobby now if we can get this all fixed. Am I going to loose all my files I have worked on over the couple years?? Please tell me I am not. Will I still be able to get to them and work on them with the new hobby stuff. Please can someone help me sort this out without loosing all my files.

hi,
1. Getting back to personal license - you won't lose any data present in your hub (Personal hub or Team hub). However, your access to other hubs and other user's access visiting your hub will become Basic. Read more about it here. Here is the link to the official documentation of Basic Access and here is the link to the website explaining the limitation of a Personal license.
2. Did you try applying for renewing your startup license? If you did, and you haven't heard back, you should open a customer case.

I did reapply and got a message back that I didn't qualify not sure why appealed that and never heard back on that one either. I am at a loss and subscription is running out. I am stuck? I don't even understand all the lingo in how all this stuff works like your hub. All I have ever done is create projects under my name. Would be nice if so.eone could look my account over and help with this. This is the only place I could find to post anything for help??

If you do not qualify for the startup program, you can opt for
a. commercial (and enjoy full benefits)
b. Personal license (earlier known as hobbyist license type, where you won't have all the features and there will be no possibility to collaborate with others apart from basic access)

I have never collaborated with others anyway wouldn't know how. All I have done is use it to make things to print on my 3d printer. I don't even know how I got a startup license some how when yall changed everything I ended up on it. Long as i want loose anything of my projects and can still edit them I am fine with the hobbyist or personal I guess your calling it now. What I don't understand is if they approved it before then why would they not now. At any rate as long as I can still use it myself and edit my projects to play around with them for the 3d printer I am fine. The problem is I can't get it to even go to the personal hobby license.

If you have any time left on your original Startup license, you must wait until it runs out before you can get a Fusion 360 personal license.

If you use the same Autodesk ID for your new Fusion 360 account, yes you will.
