Students with issues registering license

To whom it may concern, 

This semester I am teaching a design course using Fusion 360. 

I was able to easily register for an education license and download the software. However, some of my students were prompted with request to submit their transcripts and IDs. Is this the correct procedure? 

If so is there a video or step-by-step resource I can share with my students to resolve this issue?
