Students can't use email accounts to create an Autodesk account

Hello,

I teach Engineering Design and have an Autodesk teacher account and have had no issues downloading Fusion 360. However, none of my students are able to logon and verify they are students with their school email accounts. I've asked them to use personal accounts instead, but they cannot verify they are students if they use their personal accounts. How do I get my students verified so they can receive the 1-year access to Fusion 360? Thanks in advance

Hi,

Attached is a step by step guide for your students. Please let me know what step fails for them, and if it fails for all of them or just some.

At the bottom of the guide is a set of links for support.

Thanks,

Have your school's registrar put together a letter on school letterhead like the example shown. Make one PDF for each student. Then, have the kids create their autodesk accounts using their student emails, and then upload the enrollment verification letter. It worked for all of my students.
