Strange mouse behavior in drawings workspace using external display

I am experiencing strange mouse behavior while in the drawings workspace and using an external display.

Zooming behavior does not move towards center of the cursor, but rather below the position of the cursor on the screen.

Also, the cursor position seems to be skewed while trying to move viewports around drawing.

This bug is only present while using an external display.  changing from full screen mode to just a maximized window seems to have no affect.  The only way to alleviate the problem is to use the primary display.  This is obviously not idea for tedious dimensioning of drawings and such.

Thanks to whomever can shed some light on this.

Hello @nateBNP6V

Sorry to know that you are facing this issue. We are trying to reproduce this issue. Meanwhile, I had a couple of questions which will help us debug the issue or reproduce the issue easily

  1. What is the resolution of the external monitor?
  2. What kind of mouse is used? (Normal or spacemouse or other)
  3. The OS (Mac/Win)

Hi @rohit.bapat,

Please see responses below:

1.)  The display is an LG Ultrafine 5K (resolution is 5120-by-2880).

2.)  I have tried two different "normal" mice.  One was the Apple Magic Mouse, and the other the Logitec MX Master 3.

3.)  OS is MacOS Montery v12.2.1

Thank you for your help.

@rohit.bapat

I am still experiencing this strange mouse behavior.  Has anyone been able to reproduce this bug?
