Stop Automatically Changing My View

How do I turn off this feature that automatically changes my view every time I hit ok on a tool path configuration? I'm curious what the idea is behind this feature? We have full manual control over views and most of the time I'm zoomed in right where I want to be.

To clarify; this is actually a bug. We've logged a ticket, it should get addressed in due time
