stock removal when 3D machining an arc

Hi Everyone, sorry for what is likely to be a novice oversight - I'm attempting my first 3D machining operation to be used on a Shapeoko XL to make a 'former' for steam bending some wooden strips. I've tried both parallel and scallop tool paths but I keep finding that the top corners of stock remains and not sure what I'm missing. I'm using a 1/4 inch ball end mill and the stock is relative to the model.

I would be grateful for any suggestions. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious!

Looks like your cutter is not long enough. You might want to remove some material using adaptive clearing first.
