When I export a complex mesh STL from Blender to Fusion 360, move it around in Design part of Fusion, and then apply a toolpath to the object--it will show the stock around the STL and the toolpath wherever the original importation location was.
The only workaround is to move it around in Blender, and import it but never translate it within Fusion.
- Attached is a photo of a simple cube that I inserted twice, and translated one of them to the left.
- Once translated I created a setup for the one on the right, duplicated the setup, reassigned the duplicate to the one on the left, and yet the toolpath reflects where it was originally inserted--not where I translated it to!
- (I've got about 60 hours into the Manufacturing section for 3 axis machines--so I've got good use out of it but this problem is pretty weird to me and I can't figure it out)
Has anyone had such an issue?
