Still issues with multiple monitors and screen workspaces on Mac

These issues have existed, like, forever.
It has, to some degree been fixed, but there are still problems.
The multi-monitor setup causes Fusion to "loose" it's design browser position and various interface parts in the wrong places.
Moving either across the screen "division" or to the edge of a monitor will cause this.

When using multiple desktops on a Mac and using Fusion on any other desktop than the first one, it will flip-flop forth and back between the desktops, every time the little properties pop-up is shown.
This is not always reproducible, sometimes when Fusion is moved to another desktop, the little popup comes up fine.
Some other times, you are in the risk of an epileptic seizure from the screen flipping.

Some of this have been reported to Autodesk, but I have no confidence in them fixing it.

But it would be nice to hear if other Mac users with a similar setup experiences this.

I have had these issues since I started with F360 on Mac in 2015. The most "entertaining" one was having the menus render on a different display when I clicked on them. Nothing like trying to convince a menu drop down to stay active while moving the mouse across two 5k monitors.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. (Or, more sad, really).

There are so many issues with Fusion on the Mac with multiple monitors and with several desktops.

I have stopped reporting this, as I would spend all day at the support site.
It's bad enough I already spend an hour or two almost daily, dealing with other bug reports and issues.
But, yay, I get to pay for it!

Everyone I know who uses F360 is on a Mac. Every one of them complains about these issues. I've seen the support team say they can't replicate the problems internally. I'm not sure exactly how considering the prevalence of the issues.

At this point the only thing keeping me on F360 is the native Mac application. But I've started experimenting with Solidworks in Parallels and considering how well it runs I may just abandon F360.

Support is AWARE of this.
I have, on several occasion demonstrated the problems, via screencast and Zoom meetings.
Whether they are going to (or can) do something about it is another issue.

Same here.

Working on two different Macs (1. iMac 27 5K + external monitor/ 2. MacPro trashcan).

When switching between spaces or moving the cursor over to the external monitor, browser is reliably disappearing.

As a workaround pressing cmd+option+b twice brings the browser back most of the time.

Pretty annoying issue.

The issue seems not to be on the priority list. If on any list at all.
I can't say how many updates have been released in the meantime  - there is no difference in this behaviour.

Agreed.  And sometimes the cmd+option+b twice does not work.  Have to restart.

Hello everyone,

Thanks for continuing to post, this issue goes beyond the Electronics team and requires the overall Fusion development org to be involved. I continue to funnel this up the chain to get as many eyes on it as possible.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Thanks Jorge! Same goes with me, just found the matching topic in here.
Maybe somebody with admin rights could push this whole thread over to the general Fusion 360 support area?

If this makes any sense and is possible.

I experience everything above with the browser window floating sporadically if Fusion 360 runs fullscreen.
I would like to add that with multiple monitors the app also can crash multiple times a day.

I think the quick solution to that would be simply make it 1 window app for Mac OS, so the browser window or any other windows cannot possibly get to other screens or desktops on Mac.
