STEP files not uploading

Hello,  I have been having trouble uploading step files today.  Every file I try gets stalled.  I have even tried loading files that have loaded in the past and they get stuck as well.  I have cleared Cache and restarted still no progress.  Anyone else having issues?

Yes, STEP files upload seems a bit slow today.  They do take time depending on how large they are.  If Upload does not work for you, simply go to the File menu and Open it directly.  Once open, save it to the location of your choice.

These files are not large and would normally not be a problem.  I did not know you could do the file open from the drop down menu!  That worked great. Thank you.

Yes, I am also having problems. I started an upload of a fairly trivial (few hundred kB) STEP file before going to make coffee. I have now finished my coffee and donut and the progress bar is still at 50%. That's pretty pathetic, even though the health status page tell me that everything is "currently working as expected".

Thanks for the suggestion about opening from the file menu. That works instantly.

@matthewZYM62 @chriswyso This issue is now resolved. Please restart your uploads as older uploads in the queue will fail.

Thank you.

I had actually already solved the problem using the suggested workaround of opening the STEP file from within Fusion, and then saving the result to the cloud storage. With this method it seems that the STEP-to-Fusion translation happens locally, bypassing the slow cloud conversion altogether.

Even before today's issue I typically see that "uploading" is slow, by which I mean that the actual upload is quick but second half of the progress bar representing the format conversion in the cloud takes many seconds or even minutes. With the approach of opening the file directly within Fusion the process is practically instant. I think this is going to be my approach in future. I do not see a reason to go back to using the upload feature, unless there is something I am missing.
