STEP file export issue

Hi Fusion Team,

1. What STEP version is used to generate exported designs ?

2. If exported STEP files are AP214 or AP242 compliant, do designs exported to STEP contain meta data on material and appearance ?

What transfers across to the STEP file is only the color information of the Fusion 360 appearance material. A real appearance material can be much more complex than just the RGB color triplet.

Despite application of a copper appearance the material in the STEP file is still set to Steel properties. To change this, the physical material needs to be changed in Fusion 360.
