STEP-Exporting issue

Hi everyone,

I encounter an issue when exporting a certain file to STEP format.

Attached is the visual (company brand blurred).

While (A) shows what's supposed to be the final result, (B) shows what is being exported by Fusion 360.

export issue (step).png

Is this a known issue?

Has anyone encountered the same issue?

Hi @InDezign,

Sorry to see that you're facing this problem.
Would you be able to send the file to (Sujay<dot>dsouza<at>autodesk<dot>com)?
That'll help us investigate the issue and see if there can be any workaround possible in the meantime.

You can File>Export your *.f3d/*.f3z file to your local drive and then attach it here to a email.

Hi @FritsVuyk,

Are you facing similar problem? If yes, then can you please share the dataset having problem?

The solution was communicated through email, Apologise for not updating here.

Solution: The last extrude feature was creating extra semi-sphere(which was a bug), I have to extrude it as a new body(instead of joining the bodies while extruding) and then combine all the bodies again.

Reported this issue internally with ticket FUS-97848
