STEP Export Error

I'm trying to export some bodies out to STEP files for a client. I have a multi body component and have exported each body as a STEP file no problem. When i try export the assembly as a single STEP file one of the bodies within the assembly doesn't stay in the correct location in relation to the others bodies. Has anyone else had this issue and have a solution?

If i export the assembly as a stl file all bodies are in the correct location.

Thanks.

Did you use Components?

Did  you model in body position, or did you move?

Can you File>Export and then Attach the *.f3d file here?

Did you use Components?

'Components are separate files and inserted into final assembly' (i've tried breaking the link and capturing the position prior to export to no avail)

Parts were moved by creating joints

'Unfortunately cannot upload as the design is subject to a NDA'

I have now tested some more i can export in IGES or STL format and i don't get the same problem (exports all bodies in correct location).  I've re-uploaded the IGES file into fusion (so all parts are in place no design history or joints) and then exported as STEP and again the same body does not retain it's position.

Can you create a simple dummy file (say two cubes) that illustrate this behavior?

Thanks for the the suggestions and help.

I've figured this out.  The body/component that was causing the issue had a bearing inserted from mcmaster carr.  This seemed to be causing the issue when i hid the bearing from the component and exported everything went as expected as soon as i unhid the bearing same issue.  There must be something wrong with the bearing file.  I've just picked an alternative bearing and all good.

I know that two customers are reporting the same issue and there are some PRs that Siemens is investigating this.
The only option at this time is to use File-> Save As to specify the type of file to export.
Not the best solution, but the only solution at the moment.

I recommend importing the board file from FreeCAD / StepUp. It worked for me when the Cad export failed. Of course, it's good to report bugs and fix them as needed, but until then, external applications may work better.
