Start Fusion 360 30-day trial on existing installation?

Hey!

I've been using Fusion 360 as a hobbyist for a few weeks now, and I'd like to try out a few of the paid features. However, I can't seem to find any way to start the free trial on my existing installation. I went so far as to uninstall/reinstall Fusion 360 via the "FUSION 360 FREE TRIAL DOWNLOAD" link on the website, but that didn't work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi,

Either start a test with a new account or use the option for one month

Thanks for using Fusion.

It doesn't work that way, Trial is for the beginners who started working/Exploring the fusion for the first time. since you already have expired Personal entitlement. You can not have an active trial license again. All it works on the email/Fusion account basis.

All you can do is explore them with any disposable email for your test designs or purchase it for a month.

Do let me know I can help you with either of the approaches.

As a hobbyist user, I would assume the trial period is for determining whether or not the paid/premium features justify the monthly subscription. Most companies view using throwaway accounts to skirt trial periods as abuse, but... if that's what you recommend. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The free trial has been reset this month (June 2022) and I have been invited to try the new Fusion 360 features. I've done as requested and pretended to be a business user so I can download the new trial but it still shows me as a "personal  - not for commercial use" user.

I'd really like to try the new features what do I need to do to access the commercial version on the hobby account?
