Standardizing a slot for use in multiple Designs and bodies.

I'm designing some cabinetry and am trying to standardize the cutting of Festool style domino holes. How do I do this once and not have to replicate this all over the place. I tried creating a slot feature as it's own component, but I can't seem to get it to work.  I can get the sketch in the new Design ( not linked for some reason ) but it doesn't bring the whole feature.   This is the feature I'm trying to bring in linked.

Make the body that fits the cavity,

Combine cut the various bodies from the target.

Might help...

As others have mentioned, create a component for the domino and use that as a cutting tool.

There is a very nifty little addin called Cut/Join by Component that makes very short work of this!
