If you search the forum a few people experiencing this error solved the issue by switching from WIFI to a network cable connection to the internet during installation.  Also that at look article for another possible solution.

@Anonymous Had another customer yesterday with the exact same error and he claimed that simply restarting the machine fixed this problem.

Hi,

I have the same problem today. Fusion 360 did not start (I don't remember exactly what reason it was, but error message was something with a missing or damaged dll). As the Fusion 360 error message recommended to reinstall the program I tried to do it. Now I have the following error message:

sl.SSLError: [SSL: DECRYPTION_FAILED_OR_BAD_RECORD_MAC] decryption failed or bad record mac (_ssl.c:2555)

I already tried a restart without success.

Update:

Problem solved. I tried another attempt to reinstall Fusion 360 with additionally rebooting my Router. No idea what went wrong, but now it works.

In my case, I fixed it by making sure my firefox browser (or any other application) wasn't running.

Hopefully that helps someone having this issue 👍
