Square Root and Exponential Function Problems Within Parameters

I am trying to use a driven variable with units in a function that requires both SQRT and ^. Fusion 360 won't compute this variable. EG F1*F1 won't work or F1^2 how ever addition and subtraction work F1+F1 or F1-F1. I looked up something that said variables used in square root or exponential functions must be unitless. How can I convert another variable to be unitless? I tried in a variable but that didn't work either. I need the units for the first variable.

Here you go.  By the way, if you have not seen it, this is the Fusion 360 help page listing all the Functions.
