Hi everyone,

I'm very new to Fusion and wandered if anyone could help with this specific task which is to develop hand modelling skills in card. I'm trying to model a chair or any curved 3D object and then split it in to 2D planes or contours to then be laid out as 2D templates and cut from card or MDF via laser cutting or even just to be printed on paper and cut by hand which would be great for students working from home. This would be for communicating how one can construct  3d forms using card by laminating together. I've seen this done with Rhino (please see screen shots below) and I'm really hoping I can achieve this with Fusion. Has anyone completed a project similar to this or have any insight on how to do this type of thing? I've found it tricky to find any resources that tackle this specifically.

Grateful for any help,

Many thanks,

Hi,

take a look at Slicer for Fusion even if it is no longer supported.
Instructions are available on YT.
