Spaceball 5000 does not work after Nov 30 2021 update

Hello

I was using it just before the update with no issues, and it now no longer works after the update.

It does still work in other applications, just not in fusion anymore, which definitely leads me to believe it is a Fusion issue.  There is no longer any option that I can find to disable any Fusion over rides  as I believe this is now out of preview.

I thought that support for Spaceball 5000 ended years ago?

What driver are you using?

What happens if you do an Orbit with the mouse first?

Well, if you get your Spaceball 5000 to work - let me know what you did.  I have 25 of this model in the closet that I have not been able to use for years.

Ok will do.

Like I said, I have been using it for years with that driver.(ha ha, dating myself a bit here) just stopped with Fusion this morning after the update. Works on other software (UGNX, Catia)

Seems like the people at autodesk don't care if it works or not. NICE! Too scared to by a new one for fear of it might working or not even work at all.

3DConnexion and Autodesk are two different companies?

3DConnexion dropped support of their Spaceball 5000 product many many years ago.

Here's the fix. I received it from someone on Facebook. Worked for me.

Big Old Ball  Working fine !!!  drag those babies back out of the closet

It works now, using the previous driver files,  just don't update the driver after installing.

Select legacy in your preferences for 3D mouse option.
