I get an orange banner that says "Expired: Buy Now"

I follow the instructions on how to renew my hobbyist license.

At the end of the renewal chain I get

Download and install Fusion 360

Something went wrong when creating your hobbyist license.

I sort of feel sorry about that.

It might take a few minutes to process. Did you try logging out, shutting down Fusion and then start up and log in again?

If that fails, can you show me what instructions you were following, or did you just follow the link from "expired now"?

I tried the process several times over a time span of several hours.

It seems that downloading the "Fusion 360 Client Downloader", start it and letting it confirm that I had the latest version already installed fixed something important. After that I had a working personal license.

I find using using 'Fusion 360 Cleaner' and doing clean install fixes it

I have tried for hours. Mine says the same thing and I'm having 0 luck!

1. wait until the message "Expired subscription read-only" appears.

I know this is an old post, but very helpfull for me.

Whatever I tried, I could not get my license renewed, the incognito part fixed it for me.

Thanks, this worked as well. I used incognito mode, and did all sorts of combinations of signing in/out until I got a download notification. I'm shocked this issue still exists in 2024.
