Thought at first I wasn't going to be able to select the edges I needed but after right clicking they do appear in the pop up menu.
Some edges highlight themselves when hovering my mouse over, some do not:
EDIT: Same thing but with trying to select faces. When selecting faces to drive a blend toolpath I need to right click and then find the face I want to select in the pop up menu on every single face. Every single face. Why the face directly under my mouse pointer is not the very first thing on that list is beyond me. All zoomed in extra far and everything should be pretty obvious.
